Fire & Vine Hospitality Announces February Closure of the Inn at El Gaucho

Seattle, WA – January 17, 2020 – After 15 years in Belltown, The Inn at El Gaucho will host its final guests on the evening of February 15, 2020. The Inn at El Gaucho opened in 2005 with the same legendary service and hospitality as its namesake restaurant below. El Gaucho recently announced a move to the Union Stables building and, as a result, the company has chosen to close the Inn as part of the plans for future growth. Inn manager, David Bayley, will remain a valued member of Fire & Vine Hospitality and the company is assisting the team as they explore a range of employment options within the company and industry partners.

“We are grateful to our guests and incredible team for 15 wonderful years of memories in our Belltown home. Providing a special escape for visitors and the ultimate in-town staycation spot was truly an honor and we are confident that this won’t be our last Seattle hotel,” said Chad Mackay, CEO, Fire & Vine Hospitality. “2020 will be a year of growth for our team with a new Seattle home for El Gaucho, a new location in Vancouver, WA and other new projects. We are optimistic, ready to grow and looking forward to future opportunities.”

The Inn at El Gaucho will remain open until February 15th and is offering a special “One Last Time Inn” package to welcome guests during the final month. In addition to a night’s stay in one of the recently-remodeled rooms, guests will receive a $75 dining credit at El Gaucho, complimentary parking, a bottle of Browne Family Vineyards Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon, Seattle Chocolates truffles and an Inn keepsake gift bag.
